ACADEM’s interface can be fully customised to suit users’ needs.
You can :
- Modify the labels of the field and the menus displayed
- Add texts as tooltips to guide users
Adding customised screen rules in the solution settings also enables you to display, make mandatory or hide all the fields, tabs and buttons on the screen.

⚠️Only Users with a T1_admin + T1_admin Source System ACADEM role can access changes to the user interface.
Other users will not see the ‘Edit field labels and tooltip’ box when they right-click on a ℹ️ or an editable field.
Customise menu and field labels
Menu and field labels can be modified to make the solution easier to use.
Position the computer mouse on the title to be modified and right-click = a box appears below the field on the right: Edit field labels and tooltip > click on the box to access the editing window.
Change the label in the language in which the solution is used (in this case English), and in the secondary language for more consistency.
In this example, the wording of the ‘sex’ fac_sex field is changed to ‘gender’.
The field label is modified on the interface, for all users.
Customise Tooltips
Most of the fields on the interface can be accompanied by customised tooltips to guide users.
Move the computer mouse over the ‘i’ on the right of the label to see the tooltip text displayed.
- If ℹ️ appears in a red circle: no text has yet been entered in the tooltip.
- If ℹ️ appears in a black circle: the user has access to a tooltip text when he stops on the ‘i’.
To add or modify the tooltip text:
1/ Position the computer mouse on the ‘i’ and right-click: a box appears Edit field labels and tooltip > click on the box to access the editing window.
2/ Enter the tooltip text in the language in which you are using the tool (in this case in english) and confirm.
The new tooltip text appears when the computer mouse passes over the black ‘i’ for all users.
