Multidimensional Analysis allows you to export filtered data from the ACADEM database for analysis.
Three functions are available in this menu:
- Analysis of intellectual contributions
- Analysis of teacher qualifications
- Ad’Hoc Reporting
Analyses of intellectual contributions and faculty qualifications enable these data to be filtered, and give direct access to their modification.
Ad’Hoc Reporting allows you to create data models, using joins between several tables to combine their data in an unique export.

The intellectual contributions analysis enables you to select intellectual contributions from the database, export them and/or modify their publication data.
Export intellectual contributions
From the Multidimensional Analysis > Intellectual contributions menu
Click on the Filters button on the right of the screen to select the intellectual contributions to be exported or modified.
Select the characteristics of the data to be displayed from the Filters window.
The suggested filters correspond to the tabs and fields entered when creating/editing intellectual contributions.
If the list of values to be selected for a single filter exceeds 5 values, click on See more at the bottom of the list to see all the values to be selected.
Most filters work with tick values in the criteria lists (fields).
Some filters also work with text input: contributions are selected for which the corresponding fields contain the text entered in the filter.
ℹ️The search is not case or accent sensitive.
For example, if the text entered in the Title filter is ‘economy’: contributions whose title contains ‘Economy’ or ‘economy’ will appear in the results.
Validate the selected filters to display the list of corresponding intellectual contributions.
Example of filtering :
- Which articles are ranked 4 by ABS 2022?
- Which contributions address the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals?
- Which conferences were held in the institution’s city?
The filters selected appear in the box at the top of the list of results. Click on the cross to the right of the filter to remove it from the list (see image above).
ℹ️ The data for filtered intellectual contributions can be modified directly from the list of results: double-click on the line of the contribution to be modified to edit its record.
The filtered intellectual contributions can be exported in several formats: Excel, BibTex and XML > click on the Export button at the bottom of the screen, then select the export format.
The export can concern all the filtered contributions, or only a selection of contributions ticked in the list of results.
Modify publication data
Some data can be modified for one or more selected intellectual contributions:
- Year of publication
- The publication date
- Publication status (field CTR_cstat)
- Validation status (field CTR_wf)
Once the contributions filtered > select the contributions whose data needs to be modified from the list of results.
Click on the Actions button at the bottom of the page > Modify: choose the modification to be made
⚠️ If the contributions are not selected in the results list, the modifications will not apply.
The same changes will be made to all the selected intellectual contributions.
ℹ️ This makes it possible to validate a selection of intellectual contributions en masse, to bypass the validation workflow.
